We brought a squad of footballers from Rang 6/7 to St John's Dromanaquoile on Tuesday to take part in a football blitz organised by FunFit Sports. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and we were blessed with the weather. Every single one of our pupils played with immense heart, and they all showed great sportsmanship as well. All the games were very competitive. We had great success, but the Mhuire and Pádraig Primary School team got the better of us in the lead, with two points between us in the end. Congratulations to our friends from Dún Pádraig who brought home the trophy. We also congratulate our Harry from Class 7 who was awarded a special award for his efforts during the games. We would like to say a big thank you to Stephen for the great work he is doing with our students for football at the moment, and to everyone who came to support us on Tuesday. We say a big special thank you to Marty and the FunFit team for organizing an excellent day for the young Irish people of the area, it was clear that everyone really enjoyed the day.
