Bhí maidin ghalánta ar fad againn inniu agus muid amuigh dár siúlóid fómhair. Chuaigh na páistí Naíscoile agus Rang 1 ar shiúlóid suas agus thart ar Dhún Droinne, agus chuaigh an chuid eile den scoil chuig an pháirc fhoraoise. Ar an dea-uair, d'fhan sé tirim dúinn, agus bhí na páistí ábalta sult mór a bhaint as an mhaidin, ag siúl, ag súgradh, ag déanamh spraoi agus ag Gaeilgeoireacht, sáite in áilleacht an dúlra thart timpeall orainn anseo faoi scáth Bheanna Boirche. Ba mhaith linn buíochas mór a ghabháil libh uilig a sheol airgead isteach le cuidiú le ciste na scoile, agus fosta ar ndóigh, ba mhaith linn buíochas a ghabháil le gach duine a tháinig le cuidiú linn ar an tsiúlóid.
We all had a lovely morning today as we went out for our autumn walk. The Naíscoil and Rang 1 pupils went for a walk up and around Bunkers Hill, while the rest of the school went to the forest park. Fortunately, it stayed dry for us, and the children were able to enjoy the morning, walking, playing, having fun and speaking Irish, immersed in the beauty of the nature around us here in the shadows of the majestic Mournes. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has sent in money to help with school funds, and also of course, we would like to thank everyone who came to help us on the walk.
