Bhí spórt agus spraoi againn Dé hAoine ar scoil nuair a rinne muid ceiliúradh ar an údar mór le rá Roald Dahl. Bhí neart gníomhaíochtaí taitneamhacha ar siúl sna ranganna agus bhí roinnt mhaith de na páistí (agus na daoine fásta) gléasta mar charachtair ó scéalta an údair. Agus ar ndóigh, bhain muid sult as an deis le roinnt dá scéalta a chluinstin is a léamh le linn na seachtaine. Agus bhain na páistí an-sult as an Mhion-Aonach Leabhar a bhí againn chomh maith. Tá súil againn go bhfuil siad ag baint sult as a gcuid ábhair léitheoireachta nua sa bhaile! An Léitheoireacht Abú!
We had great fun on Friday at school when we celebrated the famous author Roald Dahl. There were plenty of fun activities in the classes and many of the children (and adults!) were dressed as characters from the author's stories. And of course, we enjoyed the opportunity to hear and read some of his stories throughout the week. And the pupils all enjoyed our Mini Book Fair as well. Thanks to everyone for supporting it. We hope the pupils are all enjoying their new reading material at home! Always great to get your hands on a new book! We'll host our usual Scholastic Book Fair early next month - more details to follow.
