D’éirigh go geal leis na daltaí ó R1-7 ar maidin inniu agus iad uilig ag aithris dánta ag Féis Filíochta na scoile san Ionad Pobail.
All the pupils from R1 - 7 did a terrific job this morning reciting their poems in front of an audience of friends and family in the Community Centre. There are many skills involved in learning, remembering, reciting and performing a poem as well as being brave enough to stand up in front of an audience. So, all the participants deserve great credit for their participation. Alas we didn’t have enough medals for everyone, and our adjudicator, Emer O’Hagan, was left with the extremely difficult task of choosing the winners from each class. We would like to thank Emer for taking on this hard task for putting the pupils at their ease. Míle buíochas!
