Bhí lá galánta againn ar scoil inniu. Bhain muid an-sult as béile den scoth Dinnéar Nollag. Bhí muid gléasta le geansaithe agus hataí Nollag agus bhí spraoi maith againn le chéile. Bhí spórt, scléip agus spraoi againn fosta agus muid gléasta don Spraoi-Rith Nollag. Rith na páistí óga thar tar an chlós scoile leis na páistí níos sine ag dul thart ar Dhún Droinne. Buíochas mór lenár gcairde sa chistin ag Bunscoil Naomh Maolmhaodhóg as an bhéile ghleoite a ullmhú dúinn, agus ar ndóigh, buíochas mór le Ruth, Agnieszka, Josie agus Orla a chuir an dinnéar le chéile do gach duine.
We had a lovely day at school today. We thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful Christmas Dinner. We were dressed in Christmas jumpers and hats and had great fun together. We also had lots of fun as we dressed up for the Christmas Fun Run. The younger pupils ran around the school yard with the older children going around Bunkers Hill. A big thank you to our friends in the kitchen at St. Malachy’s Primary School for preparing the delicious meal for us, and of course, a big thank you to Ruth, Agnieszka, Josie and Orla who did an excellent job pulling this all together for us.
