A chairde, with Halloween over, no doubt many of you will be thinking about and beginning to prepare for Christmas. Once again this year, we would like to reiterate that buying gifts for staff is not expected, and we want to emphasise the enjoyment we get from simply receiving a lovely card with a personal message inside. However, if you do wish to make a donation in lieu of gifts for staff, this year we are supporting Hope Harbour, a homeless charity in Belfast. They have an Amazon wishlist https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3IIER148FLYCH?ref_=wl_share but they also take donations of small toys and gifts for children who are homeless and use their services (list attached as a photo). We will be collecting any donations up until Friday 10th December, and then all donated items will be brought to the charity's drop off point in Belfast in time for Christmas. Donations can be left in the school office or Máire's classroom.
