A big thank you to everyone who supported Cairde’s two fundraising initiatives over the last couple of weeks. We extend a special thank you to our friends at JR’s Post Office for hosting the ‘Guess the Name of the Duck’ competition. The duck’s name was ‘Bramble’, well done to the winner.
Pupils from Rang 6/7 also helped out recently with another lovely competition, where pupils were invited to guess the amount of small ducks in the jar. Again, we thank you all for your support with this initiative.
One lucky pupil guessed exactly the correct amount in the jar, 618. Comhghairdeas mór le Cerys ó Rang 6, a bhain an duais iontach seo.

Many thanks again to the volunteers of Cairde for organising these fun and engaging fundraising initiatives and for helping us raise vital funds to support our pupils’ learning experiences.
And finally as we approach the Easter break, we were lucky to have some special visitors at school today. First of all, we extend a thank you to Ciarna, Cathán and Róise’s dad for bringing in two lovely young lambs for the pupils to see. Then later we were lucky to have a visit from not one, but two, Easter bunnies who brought treats for all the pupils in the school.

Reminder that school finishes at 11am tomorrow for the Easter break, pupils return to school on Monday the 13th of April. We wish you all a lovely peaceful Easter break a chairde.
